Today marks 14 years of having type 1 diabetes. It was been an uphill battle but I am still fighting each and everyday! It has been a long time since I have written anything but that just means I have been living life to the fullest 😉 My OmniPod pump has been life changing to say the least. I have big plans coming up so STAY TUNED! Let’s just say JoJo Fletcher and I have a lot in common right now…(I am not engaged or getting engaged)

If you are a type 1 diabetic, please share how you celebrate your Dia-versary! I am “dying” to know<3

Stay sharp,

    Hi Alex!
I saw that no one commented on this one yet so I thought I’d share 🙂 Hi I’m Victoria from Cali! I’m half your diabetic age- 7 years! It was my dia-versary in Feb. but I got married then so my mind was on that… but now I want to celebrate the 7 years! Also, because it’s my fav number. Anyways, I have never been able to think of a good way to celebrate it. My family always thinks I’m weird for wanting to… So I had given up on the thought, until now. Very soon, I want to get the tattoo that symbolizes the saying, “God is greater than my highs and lows”. Look it up on Pinterest! It’s becoming trendy in the diabetic community, which I know it’s not always the coolest thing to copy every one else, but I feel differently about this. It unites us together, AND I am very close to God, being I am a Christian so it means a lot more. 🙂 I’m so excited!! How did you celebrate yours?

Nice to meet you! Victoria B.
